Restaurants - Haldanes restaurant is conveniently located within the Albany Town House Hotel and is independently managed by chef George Kelso. Haldanes gained three new awards this year, including a very prestigious award of -City Restaurant of the Year 2002- from -Taste of Scotland-, for the 2003 -Taste of Scotland Guide- in conjunction with Visit Scotland, Haldanes was awarded 4 Medallions -1 of only 32 establishments to receive this grade-. Also an award was given by -Wine Spectator- as having a -world Class Wine List.- With these awards and their established 2 Rosettes with the AA, they are now considered one of the best restaurants in which to enjoy superb food and service within the city of Edinburgh. Menus give a delightful selection of innovative Scottish cuisine offering beef, lamb, game and seafood dishes.
